Join me in the awe-inspiring Olympic National Park for a four-day photography intensive workshop. This region is known for its three very distinct ecosystems; the lush, green vegetation of the ancient forests, the raw, haunted coastline and the subalpine forests giving way to snow-capped mountains.
The beautiful coastal environment is magnificent in its ever-changing weather conditions, providing remarkable landscapes and fields of stars to photograph. Throughout the four days of the workshop we’ll be covering a myriad of techniques, guided by myself, starting the very first evening with a sunset shoot after dinner.
Day two and three will start early with sunrise shoots in beautiful handpicked locations. Our days follow with tide pools of Ruby Beach, shooting ethereal images in the mists of Hoh Rain Forest and making the most of color compositions and lighting of First Beach.
Residents of the Olympic Peninsula refer to the area as the “gift of the sea”. As the major features of the area were formed by water and ice, we will utilize our cameras to capture its unique beauty.
Intermediate and Advanced: Need to have an understanding of your camera operations including manual mode, AV, F Stops and Shutter speed as needed.
