Our nights will be busy out chasing the colorful Lights, while our days give us the opportunity to explore area or Denali National Park, if time allows. This is a magnificent time to chase the Auroras. We should have warmer temperatures which allow us to visit the finest locations that I have found over the past 14 years. We will visit many of the areas lakes with reflections, parks and sights surrounding the Fairbanks area.  We will enjoy visits to some of Fairbanks nicest restaurants to keep us warm and satisfied as we enjoy the lights dancing above us after dinner. 

Our days will allow us the time to discuss compositions, determining exposures, how to create time lapse films or even live video, depending upon your specific camera.  Each day will find us discussing the previous nights work in order to improve your skills daily.

We will be based out of the Candlewood Suites in Fairbanks, AK., conveniently located near a Walmart, supermarkets and many fine restaurants.

What is included:

Local transportation from the Candlewood Suites to all photographic expeditions, photographic instruction and guidance are a big part of joining us on this adventure.

What is not included in the fee:

Airfare to Fairbanks, meals (other than opening night dinner), hotel rooms, alcohol, clothing and hand warmers!

The cost of this experience will be $2,795.00 (USD) per person. We will connect you with other participants if room sharing is something that might interest you.

Following registration, you will be contacted to make a $1,000.00 non-refundable deposit payment through Zelle or Venmo. The balance will be due 90 days prior to departure. Any cancellation requests need to be submitted in writing only. There will be no refunds within 90 days of workshop date.
