April 6-10, 2024
Join photographer and explorer Ken Sklute for a special workshop in Monument Valley to capture the Milky Way over these magnificent tribal lands.
We will spend 4 nights in this remote, dark location capturing the beauty of the nighttime sky with the centuries old Monoliths and Buttes that make up the Navajo Tribal Park of Monument Valley.
We will be based at the edge of Monument Valley in order to travel into the park every day to create spectacular views that very few get to witness.
The workshop will begin with lessons to prepare you for photographing in the park. Each afternoon we will have an image critique to help you continue to improve.
Ken will share the following techniques during his workshop:
Strong compositions
Dimensional lighting during the daytime and nighttime skies
Images with reduced noise and increased sharpness
Time Lapse
Learn to Focus Stack
Create Panoramas
Photograph the Milky Way
Learn to Light Paint
Create Star Trails
Join us for this very special way to photograph Monument Valley!
