Twas the night before New Years Eve, cold, crisp and dark. The forecast for the Aurora Borealis was good but the weather wasn’t. There was a call for clouds moving in shortly. Unfortunately, the forecasted clouds arrived right at the appointed time, taking the nights show away.
I found a wonderful area just north of downtown Fairbanks. The area is rather rural and comfortable. I enjoyed the foregrounds that it provided me. All that I needed was for the Northern Lights to come hang out for a while.
Maybe tomorrow!
