Last week a friend and I went to see our buddy, local area killer guitarist Gus Campbell perform at the RockBar in Scottsdale. Lucky for me as Gus recently tripped upon funk music. This 17 year old phenomenon just amazes as he plays…and plays….and plays.

Gus is a very talented, humble guy, who will, before too long be playing clubs, festivals and concerts across the country. I look forward to watching Gus grow! When you hear Gus play, close your eyes, your brain will tell you that the artist that you are listening to has been playing for decades. Listen for yourself. It will amaze you, like it did me!
