The day was rather grey and it looked like it might be a wet time on the road chasing the elusive thunderstorms. It’s interesting on how different chase days can be. There are days when it is rather easy to see what area may be active and there are other days when it rain make that process a bit more challenging.
Yesterday’s chase was one like that. It was a high precipitation day. Just look at what Tucson received in the way of soaking monsoon rains and flooding.
I decided to play a bit north of there, in an area that has been very good to me in the past week.
I am always conscious of the serendipity involved in creating images of something that you cannot see!
I hope that you will enjoy these images.
All in all, a rather productive day.
I would be remiss if I didn’t thank #CanonUSA for the creating the magnificent weather-sealed EOS 1DX bodies and a fine array of lines that I use in rather adverse weather conditions.
I’m so glad to see that you have a blog! I’ve signed up. I loved your photos from yesterday! Love thunder storms. Here in Michigan there aren’t the wide open spaces like there, given that we’re covered with trees and all. How long have you been doing photography?
Thank you Mollie. I’ve been lucky enough to be entering my 42 year as a professional photographer. Thanks for the kind words!
